Arturo Pardavila III joined MLB.com on March 14, 2001 after a stint at The New York Times’ Web site. He was promoted to the position of Night Copy Chief after the 2001 campaign. In 2006, he was named Associate Director of Editorial.
A life-long resident of New Jersey, Pardavila graduated from Rutgers College in 1995 with degrees in Journalism and Political Science.
After college, he worked as a reporter at The Jersey Journal before embarking on a career in online publishing. Pardavila spent five years at New Jersey Online, then worked at various other sites before joining The Times in 2000.
